Playlist: The best sounds of Uruguay 2014

Here’s a playlist I’ve compiled that brings you the sounds that have defined my time in Uruguay in 2014. There’s cumbia, football, jingles, murga, mate, advertisements, asado, candombe, polka, folklore, De Profundis (the group I sing with), Lucas Sugo, milonga and more. Not all of it comes from Uruguay. There are a few songs from Brazil, and a few from other parts of Latin America, but all of it, I’ve heard and seen right here in Uruguay. Thanks to everyone who’s introduced me to all of this. Music has deep introspective powers, but above all is meant to be shared.
